Candle Holder

Using a thrifted porcelain pot and candle stand I put them together to make a candle decor piece that you can store items in. You lift the top by the flame and can store small items like jewelry inside.

The flame is made from polymer clay, painted black with gold foil added and sealed with glossy polyurethane. I used hot glue to make the dripping effect and spray painted the pot for the candle base. It is sealed with matte polyurethane.

The base/holder has gold foil, sealed with glossy polyurethane, and the spiral part has added texture by using baking soda and black paint also sealed with matte polyurethane.
